Audience Feedback

The audience feedback that we got was not much but it was detailed. Our film was 2.30 minutes long and included a variety of shots. There was no script for our film, so we had to rely on the visual effects to entertain the audience. Also we added sounds from garage band to the film along with sound effects from IMovie.

The audience thought that our film had several good points. Firstly the audience thought that our film had a good range of different shots and camera angles. This is because we used several types of shots, including plenty of match-on-action, close ups, Pans, Low shots, and we used camera movements such as zoom ins and zoom outs.

Good comments were also made on the titles. The audience thought that the titles were good because instead of just using the titles already on IMovie, we created our own. We did this by writing the titles on paper, however we wrote each letter on a piece of paper, and filmed the letters until they created a full word. This gave us lots of short shots of about 3 to 4 seconds each. WE then put all these short shots into IMovie and speeded up the playing time to make the titles appear as an animation. The audience thought that because we created our own titles, it gave our film originality.

Another aspect of the film that the audience liked is the special effects. This is because we used special effect/make-up on the hand that appears at the end of our film. We did this by putting Tomato ketchup on the hand. This gave the effect that the hand was bloody.

Even though the audience did like some aspects of our film, they thought that the story could have had more depth to it. This is because we didn't really reveal much in our film. On the other hand this added to the enigma of the film.
